Taserpenguin
Every time I load up Fallout with FWE, I get a recurring error message (attached picture) and it stops the game in its tracks. This is annoying and I would like to know how to fix it. Anyone that can help, do.
niccolo
Um. You already know the answer, mate. It's right there; you need FOSE. Though... if you're new to modding, you might not know. FOSE is a toole like OBSE: it stands for FallOut Script Extender. It creates more script functions for FO3 to use.Clicky-clicky HERE and download the version you feel comfortable with and install it. If you have it already, make sure you've installed it - and then, the key is: Make sure you run FOSE! This is pretty simple; navigate to your fallout directory - NOT data, the one just before - and look for the file called FOSE_Loader.exe. Double-click on this. FOSE will start and Fallout 3 will start automatically a few seconds later. Alternatively, you can use FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) to run FOSE too... or change your shortcut to go to FOSE_Loader.exe instead of Fallout3.exe. I try to run it out of the Fose Loader, but it doesn't work. I have the GOTY. Every time I try to run it with wanderer's Edition, it has a pop up saying that I don't have the correct FOSe, and I have both 1.2 and 1.1 b9
