Fade Distance Problem

Ok so I've got kind of a major problem. The main problem being that I don't want to play because the game looks really ugly right now. What's happening is, all objects in the distance aren't loading. So objects that really aren't even that far away are just gone. So all I'm seeing is the LOD ground textures, but no trees and no buildings. I'm not sure what's causing this. I've just reinstalled Oblivion and all the DLC. I've also done all the patches official and unofficial. And then I've installed various graphic enhancing mods like qarl's textures, natural environments, deadly combat, etc. There's a lot and I know this might be a mods fault, but I can't seem to figure out which one. Well I guess the best way for anyone to help me is to know what mods I have.

Patches:

Unofficial Oblivion Patch

Unofficial Official Mods Patch

Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch

Mods:

Alive Waters

Better Water

Deadly Reflex 5

Natural Environments

Oblivion Citadel Door Fix

Real Lava 1.3

Qarl's Texture Pack 3

So I have no idea what's going on. I've set all the fade distances to as far as they can go. All my graphics settings are at max. I've got a quad-core processor, a GTX 460, 5GB Ram and Windows 7 64-bit.

What's wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using Streamline? If you are, turn off StreamSmooth and regenerate your .ini. The game may have defaulted your system to medium settings because of how new your GPU is, so you'll have to manually increase the distance settings in your .ini (the options in-game are clamped based on the hardware scan).

You should also download and run TES4LODGen. You can even try installing Really Almost Everything Visible When Distant (RAEVWD). On my system with Qarl's and Better Cities, though, this slowed the game down to the point it was unplayable (Intel Core 2 QX6700, 4GB RAM, 2x 8800 GTX OC2 [sLI], Windows Vista x64). This mod was made with a system like yours in mind, though.

You should not use the Citadel Door Fix, as it's known to cause problems. Also make sure you have the latest version of the Unofficial Oblivion Patch Supplemental installed.

I just went into the oblivion.ini file and edited it as to the 'ultra high' settings on that link and the game now looks awesome!!!
