Quest-related crash?

For some reason, whenever I attempt the quest "A Brotherhood Betrayed," I can't complete it due to an odd bug.

In short, it seems that whenever the guards arrive at the inn to give me permission to hunt down Raynil Dralas, I'm kicked back to my desktop. No matter where I am at the time, this seems to happen, regardless of whether I'm waiting nearby or fast-traveling to another city.

I have been playing with:

All Natural

Beautiful People

Oblivion Stutter Remover (added after this issue appeared)

Windom Earle's Crash Prevention System (added after the issue appeared)

Deadly Reflex

Ren's Guard Overhaul

Keychain

Also all the Official Unofficial Mods for the base game as well as the DLC

The rest of the game plays fine, and I have been playing with these mods for several days with no problems. Any advice?

Edit: Here's my load order, just in case

Oblivion Base

All Natural Base -All Natural

Horse Combat Master -Deadly Reflex

Unoffical Oblivion Patch

UOP Vampire Aging and Face Fix

Oblivion Citadel door Fix

Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch

All DLC

DLC UOP

Keychain 5.0

Ren Guard Overhaul

All Natural.esp

All Natural -Real Lights

All Natural -SI

Beautiful People

Deadly Reflex (4 parts)

not really sure whats the problem but try using boss

and im suspicius about the rens guards overhoul is a mod with many bugs some of them are already fixed so go check the official rens guard overhoul tread (he is giving support to this mod) but before that try deactivating your mods one by one and try to do the quest so you can find whats the problem

Thanks, I'll try that. I was just looking to see if anyone has ever had a similar problem before.

Hmmm.. My friend Frank Gilliam (Well... Used to be. Not that we have a feud, just that we never talk anymore.) had a similar problem. He downloaded a pirated version of the game, couldn't figure out how to use a fixed EXE or burnt image (Which I use, because of...) so he asked to use my CD that I had for the game. Never saw the CD again.... Yay... (Still have the box though, for god only knows what reason... been empty for years.)

Anyways, point being, I never had the problem, I never even had a big mod list though. But the situation is exactly the same as him, and he never figured out "mods".. or was never interested.. idk.. before he either broke, lost, or destroyed my yet-to-be-returned CD or became disinterested in the game because he has money and can afford new ones. (lol) [cry]God I'm always broke....[/cry]

At the same time, I uses to have some peculiar problem with the Dark Brotherhood at some point of time which I never understood... I can't remember what exactly it was because I actually just made a quickie-mod to fix the problem, and without the mod on new saves I never ran into it again, and remember I never have a big mod list... Well... I do.. But none are active, ever really. I download mods I might be interested in one day for the sole reason that if the Nexus ever went down or my internet did I had the potential to still use em if I wanted to, and I never do. Heck, I had the first released version of Midas Magic until just maybe a half year or more ago, because I never use it!

SO, do you either:

Have a similar situation as my friend Frank,

have the same problem even if you disable ALL mods (I'm not suggesting saving and ruining your modded save, just to see if it is a problem that even vanilla has.)

or have tried using the construction set to just kind of skip a couple of things to just "get on with it" and spare the frustration?
