robdood
Hi guys, newbie so please be gentle if I've missed something obvious. Could someone write / point me towards a list of the 'best' Morrowind mods? I've recently got a nice new graphics card, have never played Morrowind (played Oblivion and Fallout extensively though) so thought I'd give it a try. I'm mainly interested in the graphical/sound updates to be honest, though any game changing ones which are generally considered good/useful would be nice to know about too! Is there some kind of Mod Manager I'll need to get in addition to any files? Appreciate any help given, thanks! :)
killerz61
Well i'm not a modder but i've spent the last 2 weeks trying to get good mods for morrowind that are compatible so far i've found that these are the top mods that work together, Of course they also reflect my preferences... I haven't started my game completely but i've done quick in game running around to make sure they don't crash instantly. Also i am still looking for good face packs that work I'll post one up when i find out. First of all you should get the -Morrowind Code Patch-Better Bodies- and ether Forest of Vvanderfall or Seasons They wont work together.-You can put in pretty much any house add - on you find as long as they don't replace any in town things (Not sure if they will all work with forest of Vvanderfall) - Dark Brotherhood Armor Replacer- Abot Guars (Abot's Work is Defenitly the best of any modder i have come across yet Almost always no problems)- To serve SithisThere are others that i found worked but they were lost when i deleted all my files the first time :( wish i hadn't because i had an awesome head replacer/hair replacer. - Better Bodies 2.2 Wood Elf Tatoos- Features_Vvardenfell_1The featrues of vvenderfall is very limited in heads but it still works i am going to continue trying new ones and will keep you updated on them. This is the face changer i was talking about in the begining -Changing Faces NPC replacer UpdateThis one also lets you have the same faces for your character. ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR FILES I have had to reinstall morrowind 3 times already so back up your data files for the actual game in a separate folder so if your game does get screwed up you can start again from scratch without having to reinstall. So Make A copy of the Morrowind Data Files! I've been playing as little and the only thing thats not quite working is the water it looks weird but thats very minor and can be fixed by other mods.
