sullyvanj93 Posted December 11, 2014 Share Posted December 11, 2014 I am creating a unique melee weapon in the geck, but am still fairly green when it comes to altering files. Now as I said, it is a melee weapon, so I don't have to insert any custom reloading or firing sounds. What I do need to change is how the weapon sounds when it hits an object, or when it is dropped/moved around with the grab key. The base weapon I am using is the wooden baseball bat. Now I have put a metallic texture on it, but again, it still sounds wooden whenever it strikes something. The only sounds I have been able to find and change are "Impact Data Set" which I changed to "PipeImpactSet" and "Melee Block", in which I also used "WPNBlockPipe". This only fixes a fraction of the weapons sounds however, and search as I might, I cannot find any other changeable sound perimeters :/ Can someone who is more geck savvy point me in the right direction? please and thank you!
