killerz61
Problems/conflicts - For me i receive a shaders error message but that isn't because of any mods that is a problem with ether my computer or the morrowind game itself , There is also a problem with the water but other mods will be able to fix that or maybe some updates. If you receive any errors let me know and if i can ill try and help you sort it out. I am not a modder all this advice is learned through trial and error... ALOT OF ERRORS :P Hope this helps put some life back into the vanilla (Unmodded) morrowind. *******BEFORE ADDING ANY MODS*************Copy your morrowind Data Folder that contains textures, Meshes, and Icons (The Whole Thing) Into a new Folder!!!!!! This will help you save time if an error occurs which is very likely. Make a separate folder for all your mods and put 2 folders in that folder Backup and Working mods. Mods I recommend starting with- Morrowind Code Patch - Dark Brotherhood Armor replacer- Erengard Mines- Abot Guars ( Abot's Mods Are almost always compatible with everything He is an amazing modder)- Better Bodies (nude mode / Underwear Mode) They both work quite well- improved Followers- Herbalism ( Oblivion Style ingredient picking)- To Serve Sithis- Changing Faces Replacer ( Only face replacer i havn't had any problems with) ( NEVER USE WORLD OF FACES!!!! IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MOST EVERYTHING)- Almost any House add on ********* FOR ARMOR AND ANYTHING ELSE*******************************I have a lot of trouble with many armor and other mods, but if you wish to experiment i always recommend having a copy of all your Mods (that work including those above) in a separate folder So that if you need to delete everything and restore your old files from your morrowind data Backup Files (if you followed my advice) and putting all those mods that worked back in ( don't forget to Re copy the files before you put them back in so that no matter what you will always have an extra set if anything goes wrong ( Happens A lot when experimenting with mods. ) Hopefully this will help all you beginners so that you don't have to go through 2 weeks of headaches to get morrowind to run smoothly.
