danscott84
The final conversation had me interested right until the end when I said, "Well that sucks..." Character was a knife eared human noble married to Anora but in love with Mori. Loghain did the sacrifice so there was no DR. Seems the DR wasn't necessary for Mori to give birth to my character's son. Exhausted the dialogue, followed Mori into the mirror and BAM - the credits. No flash of light or swirling colors, nothing to even hint at the magic in use or a blurred vision of what might be in store for them; all we get is a bunch of names on the screen of people who could have used more imagination and done their job better. Sad really  Whoa, wait. She let you go with her? My HN was refused with some lame cannot follow her line.

Yep, and they both lived happily ever after  Blew my mind, I got the happy ending. She told me I couldn't follow but I pressed the issue (told her I loved her, couldn't be without her  ) and she said to come with her. Did I mention I used a post-epilogue save? Thandal
[Whoa, wait. She let you go with her? She told me I couldn't follow but I pressed the issue (told her I loved her, couldn't be without her  ) and she said to come with her.Did I mention I used a post-epilogue save? With just a single (post-DA:A, post-GoA, but NOT post-DA:O Epilogue) PC, I played that scene multiple ways, (including the one not yet mentioned.) Which is why I say anyone can get "the hoped for resolution." Obviously if one ended DA:O on... less than good terms... with The Swamp Witch, then one's expectations and aspriations are significantly different than if one ended on a note of regret at the (acccording to her) necessary parting. But all in all, I thought the STORY came to a suitable, appropriate ending, depending on one's previous, (and even newly taken) decisions. The on-screen REPRESENTATION of that ending left something to be desired. But I'm pretty good at mentally filling in the missing pieces once they've been identified for me. So I didn't need swirling lights to know that my Warden had stepped into a whole new world.Just as I didn't need... a blood spatter ... when I played it differently! danscott84
Ah, I wasn't in love with her, maybe that's why I couldn't go with her. My characters were 1) married to Anora with Leliana mistress and 2) Dalish in love with King Alistair. I still have to find my flash drive with the save of a character in love with Morrigan. (unpacking after a move sucks)
Thandal
Ah, I wasn't in love with her, maybe that's why I couldn't go with her.Well... da-UH! She's not gonna' let just any ol' Warden tag along... (unpacking after a move sucks)Don't it just! (Ex-military, so lots of experience with that. Let's just say that, despite what U-Haul would have you believe, the last thing you want in a move is "An Adventure"!)
danscott84
What can I say? I figured since I got see her naughty bits and had a child she might just let me tag along. :whistling:
RustyBlade
I'm still disappointed that I didn't get to see Anora's reaction to her King (consort) dumping her for a swamp witch.
brokenergy
I can settle that for you Rusty, Anora celebrates her husband's disappearance with margaritas and never marries again because she is infertile and none of the men look like her dad (scary I know). RustyBlade
Margaritas? I always had her figured as a (pick a flavor) Grey Goose and Red Bull power-drinker :teehee:
brokenergy
Actually Sheryl Chee said that she would go straight to the tequila shots in a interview about Anora.
