Resurrecting Mehrunes Dagon

For the mages guild the necromancers are a very dangerous threat.

This quest start few weeks/days after the player became The Champion of Cyrodiil.

The player receive a letter from Raminus Polus about rumors saying that there is a large necromancer gathering, the player need to investigate (there is no need to do the mages guild chain to start this quest).

In that gathering the necromancer consider joining a different faction, seconds before thy indicate the faction's name someone spot the player and the player need to escape.

The player need to infiltrate a necromancer stronghold and find the identity of that faction (he can enter by any means like bribing, wearing necromancer robs and so on)

After a wide search the player realize that the necromancer are meeting the Mythic Dawn, a meeting that will happen in few days (the player will need to read books and notes, there will be no quest update that will explain it)

If the player is a caster type he will receive a command humanoid spell from Raminus Polus, this spell will allow him to assume the form of one of the delegates, or follow the delegates to the meeting place.

when you reach the destination you realize that the necromancer are meeting the Mythic Dawn, and considering a way to bring Mehrunes Dagon's spirit back to temriel, The player will need to find a way to stop this from happening.

 

This is only a very rough draft, i will be happy to hear any comment about this quest idea.

My knowledge in the construction set is none to minimal, and this is a humble suggestion/request for a quest.

Sounds interesting to me! I wasn't a huge fan of Servant of the Dawn, and I really like the idea of things becoming more twisted the farther in you get. I'd love to help out if needed, though I don't know what good I'd be as I can't really create anything or script, I can just work things already in the CS.

Xeivous: sorry for the error and thank you for the correction, the reason that i thought about necromancers is their summoning spells (it is also fun to kill them) and i thought that a powerful and accurate spell might find and summon Mehrunes Dagon back.

Maybe the player will able to form some kind of error that will summon Mehrunes Dagon into a different body (mud crab might be funny).

 

LordEsther: I dont like to play an evil character, i read about that mod ages ago and i dont think i will ever install it.
