Drax193
I dislike the idea of starting out as a specialized character and, over time, having to branch out into other fields because my main fighting technique has suddenly become obsolete after I make it legendary. In my opinion, the legendary-status/skill-reset made any level 100 skill useless because I immediately would reset it to level 15 so I could keep leveling up. However, I only play on legendary difficulty so obviously this makes things frustrating. Also, I find myself constantly casting aside the highest level perks in order to continue leveling up instead. The idea I had in mind was to make a mod that would enable the character to have a level 100 skill, but still get leveling experience from using that skill. I downloaded the Creation Kit because I had some ideas in mind, but I couldn't implement them. One idea was about uncapping skills to level 101, and then putting in some sort of return system that would start you back at level 100 every time you reached level 101 (Theoretically, the player would never see the level 101) And this way, if the player wanted to use the legendary option, its still available because the skill is at level 100. I'm not sure how this really works in the Creation Kit. I only know a little bit about scripts from my programming classes in college, but we're still on basic stuff, like while-loops, which was the basis behind this idea. Again, not sure if you can do this in the Creation Kit. Another idea that I pretty much immediately discarded was uncapping skills altogether. That would get out of hand and the character would become too OP, and I'm not about that life. If someone could help me out on this, that would be awesome!
