RaPiiD38
Hey guys. So I have a.. lot of mods and I decided to start playing again recently and noticed that my fps was pretty low for my computer, gtx 760, fx 4100 (I know it's bottlecapping), 8gb ram (with 4gb mod). I got drops to 10fps when looking at npc's, 20 when looking at complex geometry (towns, trees, etc) and my max was 37fps looking at the sky. So after a long, long time messing with my .ini's and other performance tweaks and fixes I eventually just tried disabling all my mods and seeing if a clean game will fix it.I got about 40-70fps and that's with an enb, without 4gb mod. So something is eating away about 20fps and I have no idea what it is, I thought I'd post my mod list here if you guys have any idea, thanks in advance. falloutnv.esmFalloutNV.esmDeadMoney.esmHonestHearts.esmOldWorldBlues.esmLonesomeRoad.esmGunRunnersArsenal.esmCaravanPack.esmClassicPack.esmMercenaryPack.esmTribalPack.esmFCOMaster.esmProject Nevada - Core.esmProject Nevada - Equipment.esmMilitary NV Backpacks.esmRun the Lucky 38.esmPipboyRemover.esmPip-Phone.esmSomeguySeries.esmNiner.esmLucky38Suite_Reloaded.esmProject Nevada - Rebalance.espProject Nevada - Cyberware.espLutana CotW Expansion.esmChildren of the Wasteland.esmFCO.espFCO - Playable Races.espFCO - Niner.espCourier Vests.espdesmond companion.espVurt's WFO.espMilitary NV Backpacks - BumBagUseSlot1.espNew Vegas Trade Center.espJoOsArmory.espHDTshop.espGunslinger.espUrgeWasterScarf.esp1911.espSR556.espMoraelinsProfessionalsSuitMod.espDragsModernGunslinger.espG36K.espGeonox_Riot_Armor.espTheLozza's_Gasmasks_V2.espUzi.espJustAnArmorPack_WithCheatBoxAndAliceArmors.espThe Mod Configuration Menu.espGoodsprings Filler.espNiptonRebuilt.espMadScience02.espThe Lucky 38 Empire.espThe Weapon Mod Menu.espAK47.espC1849.espCrossbow.espPPSh41.espRemington870SO.espRHINO45-70MX_NV.espmac10.espNewVegasBountiesII.espHood.espNewVegasBounties.espGameSettings.espZan_AutoPurge_SmartAgro_NV.espB92FS.espPerformance Of The Gods.espTommy.espRemovableWeaponMods.espHK MP5SD3 NV.espMakarov.esp9A91.espWEATHER RUDY ENB.esp Edited December 14, 2014 by RaPiiD38
Biervampir
Try to run the game with Graficcard. If u have a modern PC, sometimes the old games aren't seen as games that needed Graphiccard support. RaPiiD38
Not sure what you mean, my enb notifies me at the start that the video device is my graphics card which is a Gtx 760.Unless I disconnect my gpu it's the only thing possible to use. Biervampir
That option is only available for thinkpads. - http://imgur.com/TzxLf5yPerhaps that causes your ENB?But I think as long as your Fallout is registered in your Graphiccard support...thing, it should be fine? RaPiiD38
The problem is that there's a script from a mod running in the background which is eating up 20fps, I doubt it's anything to do with my settings since I've tweaked them for hours and once I disabled all mods I got decent framerates. Biervampir
Ok, now I get it.Hmmm... than, u have to look after this mod, who need's that much resources.Deactivate a group of mods, and when u see it's running fine in an area/situation u could play around a little bit, which mod causes this problem. For example:Deactive or deinstall 2-7 Mods, if the game are still or almost not that i wanted it to be, I know, they dont causes that problem. But I let them deactivated/deinstalled.And so on.If I get some result, I activate/install 1 mod of the group to see, that the mod causes or don't causes that problem. When I know the problematic mod, I read the "read-me". The installation, troubleshoot and Q&A topics are the most useful now.But sometimes u have to decide between 2 mods. Personally, I use LooT and Wrye Bash to detect some mod's they could causes some troubles. Also I know the mods I'm useing quite good, so I know which mod it possible be. RaPiiD38
Okay I un-installed project nevada and wasteland flora overhaul which removed a lot of the stuttering and gave me a 10fps boost, feels a lot better now. Not completely solved but thanks.
