Ok, here's where I'm at, bob'd tail. I deleted the vertices I did'nt need, extruded the open face, scaled it down and snapped to center. Shortened it so as to stay on the first bone. When exporting it back out I did'nt change anything as you'll see below as well.

It shows up in geck as a small black splotch with that red floor. Nifscope shows it fine. What am I not doing right to get it in the game? I only edited the tail, did'nt touch nothing else. I want to do this to Dogmeat as well so please someone tell me whats up with this. whats with the left over bone index lines? Do they have to go and how? in nifscope? Will the stock animations work on the shortened tail?

Ok, here's some more stuff not making sense. Here I'm at vault 101, kinda set up so I can quickly go in and out of the game while working on the mutts. Still no changes for the dogs but here's something real strange...you'll see a black figure of the edited vicious dog with it's tail cut floating above my character. Looking up close she has 2 small spot on her neck that are black and point in the direction of the floating dog. I changed her mesh a bit and it's not showing up either. Only with clothes on. shorts, tank tops, only feet, hands and head show. I had the dogs saved in the same folder as the girls work, so I seperated them and still have problem of my creations not showing up in game...what to do?

Also, on the vicious dog, why do the mesh on the legs show through? The stock file looks like that too. Seems not right but thats why I'm here :) >>>> I don't know.
