Carrolj2
Maybe the answer to this question is really simple, but it's got me stumped..... when trying to export some armor meshes out of blender, my window is cut off on the right side as well as the bottom... I've played with all the buttons, tried to resize it all, but nothing seems to work. I can't even see the button selection on the far right side of the export screen, so I can't really export anything... Anybody heard of this before? How do I fix it? :wallbash:

Carrolj2
No I can see the 'ok' button well enough once I just resize the lower taskbar/window. It's the right edge of the screen that seems to be cut off. It cuts off almost almost exactly half of the 'Shader Options' buttons... I reinstalled blender and scripts, but that didn't seem to help at all.... I'm stumped  Here's a screenshot
2pac4eva7
i have the same problem and have never been able to fix it. so i just export with the defualts and copy and paste the shaders from a nif that already has working shaders then just adjust the texture paths to mine. That sounds easy enough. I'm trying to eliminate the lower half of a body to eliminate clipping through clothing, but yeah...can't save the skin. Where do you find these shader entries exactly? Trypal7
Hope this helps you, I am having the exact problem you are and what he just said explained a step I completely skipped. The shaders he's talking about you find in nifskope while you have a , nif open. The menu box on the left that looks empty...start clicking the + symbols to break out the trees and anything that starts with B will be a shader, just hold your mouse over each one and a little pop up window will tell you what it is, You want all BSSshaders. Thats how I located them, like I said hope thats helpfull to you.

Oh yeah, the only hickup I have is that there is a tiney white rectangle in the center of my model's chest...have to figure that one out too
Trypal7
Good, I'm happy you got it. I'm happy that I was able to help, because I'm still stuck on my projects lol. This is more rewarding than anything computer related I have done, keep it up because I may ask you for help soon :P Oh about the white rectangle..what comes to mind is to open it up in blender and look at the mesh and make sure there are'nt any quads in the chest area, probably just 1. I'm thinking you have a rectangle that needs to be converted to triangles. highlite the rectangle, right click and select convert to triangle or use the tool bar. which ever, I hope that helps:)

I can only see it when light hits the body a certain way. I checked for rectangles and whatnot on the mesh and none were to be found. It's not that noticeable, so I'm not really that worried about it unless I decide to upload the armor to the nexus
