dmwong47 Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I'm trying to install the Long War mod for XCOM Enemy Within on my Macbook Pro and am having a lot of trouble. I've never installed a mod before and have never run a script in my life. I've downloaded the "Long War 3 Beta 14i for Linux and Mac OS X" file, and the instructions indicate to "Run install-LW.sh script." I've been reading up on running scripts on a Mac (using Terminal - is this right?) but still am at a complete loss of how to even start running the long war installation script. Does anyone have any pointers or (better yet) a video that runs through the entire long war installation for Macs specifically? I apologize for my naiveté, but thanks for your help!

If not, that thread is the most likely source of a solution, outside of the "XCOM File Discussions" section of the forum which is where Long War is supported. Basic problem is that we don't have a regular contributor who is running on a Mac with OS/X. -Dubious-
