One question thought : will I be excluded regardless I'm busted or not? Are there unknown forces reporting I stole a thief even if no one noticed it? Same question about stealing beggars. If it is from someone that is proscribed you will get a message telling you that you have been kicked out of the guild. Just reload the save from just before you stole.
