MrDestructo
Who though morrowind was a fuller game than oblivion. Morrowind had alot more guests in the guilds like the story was alot longer and took a long time to complete but in oblivion i can finish the story in about an hour and a half. I think morrowind might have had one more guild to join. I am dissipionted that there is no imperial wach guild and im woundering if they replaced it with the darkbrother hood. It would have been fun to choose kinda a good or evil thing with imperial wach or darkbrother hood defeting the other. I am also very angery i cant where imperial wach guard captin armor I think it is one of the cooler armors in the game. I just think morrowind had a lot more stuff in it and oblivion should have more weapons but insted they took some out crossbow darts staffs. I just think they focust on the grafics to much and left the game play and quests a little empty. I just felt a little dissapionted with oblivion becouse morrowind was almost a perfect game to me. If you download the all armors mod you can make the imperial watch captain armors available and if you download the augment armors mod it will make the captain armor just as strong as daedric. I have this mod and the captain armor looks good even on an orc!

Nerivant
I have to say Oblivion, becuase I havn't played Morrowind in about a year and if I had the discs, I would... but I don't. I lent them to a friend who never gave them back.
cryocry
It would be cool if you can play with Morrowind (all of it, in an expansion pack, maybe Mainland Morrowind in the first, and Vvardenfell in the second), because it would make Oblivion much more fun to play. But, in Morrowind, you can be in the Imperial Legion, so that's like in the Imperial Watch.

sleaaels
I think this was covered early on last month, I do agree Morrowind seemed to have more content then Oblivion. Just remember to bring in the fact that Oblivion's graphics were time consuming, which leads me to believe content was sacrificed over eye candy. I believe it would take much much much longer if they wanted to make oblivion the size of Morrowind both in land mass and content: "Oblivion Coming Out Winter of 2007!" Vagrant0
I think this was covered early on last month, I do agree Morrowind seemed to have more content then Oblivion. I believe it would take much much much longer if they wanted to make oblivion the size of Morrowind both in land mass and content: "Oblivion Coming Out Winter of 2007!" This was probably due to file size rather than time. The game itself, as is nearly fills your standard DVD. Most of that file size is graphic or sound related. Meshes - 20182 files - 659mb packed.Textures - 18041 files - 1,611mb packed.Sounds - 1533 files - 315mb packedVoices1 - 33198 files - 750mb packedVoices2 - 44582 files - 958mb packedMisc stuff (gui and such) - 115 files - 7mb packed That's 4.3gb right there. Add another 290mb for the base .esm, music files, and the game, and you have a filled DVD, even after more compression. They couldn't fit a whole lot else on there, so chances are that some quests and other stuff that they didn't see as being too important were cut so they could make the fit. Being a 2 DVD game wouldn't have been possible since it would have had to work on xbox, and doing so would have probably doubled the manufacturing costs, making the game more expensive. Naturally, players don't think very much about this stuff, so just keep wanting more, comparing it to previous works and looking at it as only half a game. If anything this should just mean that the modding community has to stop playing around with house mods and other senseless crap, and add some decent content to the game. coolboys
Personaly, I don't think that the ability to see 3 and a half miles in front of you is realy needed in the game. I'd be happy with Marrowind's fog and have a little more game content. Unfortunetly marrowind didn't make enough money so bethesda tried to target Oblivion more tward the shootemup Xbox Halo types, rather than the hard core gamer population. Because of this the story is shorter and the game play is much faster. There are less types armor(Boots Helmet gloves ect.) and this new fast travel thing. It also doesn't go as deep as marrowind. There is a definate evil enimey (Dagon, dedra, mythic dawn- Vrs- imperials )force which every one hates while in marrowind there is only many different smaller factions fighting amongst them selves( imperial cult, temple, the great houses, ashlanders...ect) Also the history, theology, myths, rituals, and look of each culture was so deep. I think its the biggest fantesy creation scince the Lord of The Rings (not the movie) By Tolkien. I miss the lade-back-take-as-long-as-you-want feeling of marrowind. Oblivion is too rushed. For some of us Oblivion is not the RPG we were waitning for :( This is a call to all modders: stop creating useless crap, like buttnaked bitches and super weapons, and start focus on making the content better. >:( i'm working on making more crafts people who make things people don't think of like bakers, potters, keymakers, barrelmakers, glass blowers, carpenters, and masons, and adding more working mines.
