Redcliffe village crash

I've started a new campaign with a elf rogue and I'm trying to save redcliffe. However when I've finished preparations and wait for sundown I get a crash to desktop just before the undead monster appear. Can anyone give me an help?

IIRC the game does an autosave before the attack. Can you load that save, or if it doesn't autosave, do a manual or quick save right before it crashes and then when it does, load that save and try and proceed?

I have just tried that but I still get a crash to desktop with the message 'Dragon Age has stopped working'. Should I reinstall? or is there anything else I can do?

Before you get drastic, are you patched to 1.04? Do you have any mods that affect Redcliffe, Redcliffe citizens or the undead?

Yes I am updated and no I haven't got any mods that effect Redcliffe in a drastic way. I have played a previous campaign and there was no problem on that campaign. However I have created two new campaigns and both suffer from this crash.

What mods do you have?

some of the DLC items, stone prisnor, respec addon, improved atmosphere, the rest just affect my inventory. I haven't added any since my first campaign apart from my own mod which adds some new items to the merchant in the party camp. Would that affect anything?

If you have Leliana's Song, Golems of Amgarrak or Witch Hunt enabled, disable them. If you still get no joy try disabling your mod and then the improved atmosphere. If it still doesn't work, disable everything and do a forced load (don't save this one) and see if it will go. If it does, the problem is in one of your mods, add them back in until you find the one that is bugging you, then do another forced load, then immediately save and reload before you go on. If it doesn't play with everything disabled I'm afraid your only option is a reinstall.

I have tried that but no success. I have used the toolset and looked at the Arl Eamon folder, I tried exporting the fold to see if there was anything missing, I got these error messages:

Do these mean anything?

Improved Atmosphere mod is your culprit I believe. Check his site for a fix. Or temporarily disable his mod and load your save, then after the battle re-install. The problem revolves around the bodies stay section of his mod.
