Is there any way to get the coordinates of the strike? Or another way to activate the script, even if you miss - I'd like the lightning bolt to strike the ground if that's where you cast the spell... On another note - how can I trigger a sound effect via script? Thanks! You might be able to make it work by adding an area of 1 to the first spell. But I'm pretty sure that the spell has to actually hit something (actor or item) to do anything. You might want to try playing around with a spell with just a message script attached to see what it'll trigger on, and what you can to to make that message trigger elsewhere. You kinda just have to play around with this sort of thing. I would check the Wiki under "functions" I think there's something that 'plays a sound' somewhere in there.
