Before i start

Hello everyone,

 

I could use some help,

 

Before i start to Install Mods into my game what do i need?

Patch(s)

Programs

ect.

 

I dont remember if it was FO3 or TES but i remember a site that had a list of TO DOs before you start installing mods.

 

I have windows 7 and the Game of the year Edition.

Sorry if this was asked before search didnt come up with anything, Could have been my wording.

Oblivion Patch 1.2.0416 (Don't install if you have GOTY, which you do.)

OBSE - Many new mods need this.

 

Other tools:

 

Oblivion Mod Manager - This lets you to install/uninstall mods easily and arrange your load order.

Wrye Bash - People say this is important... I haven't tried it myself.

BOSS - Better Oblivion Sorting Software - Automatically arranges your load order.
