CoM Causing game to Crash

After installing CoM (Children of Morrowind), every time i went near a city such as Balmora or Ald-Ruhn a pop up messege would display, telling me that "Actor has no animation" and that a certain animation wasnt found (something like anim_child_*long number*). The game will crash/

 

Has it got anything to do with the way i installed the files (just dragged them into the data folder and let windows do the sorting) or do i need the MWSE/MGE?

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S I am running morrowind through Steam.
