Whats the difference between houses

Mayt be a bit late here, but I must disagree with Marxist's bias against Telvanni. Each house really has to do with what style you like. Marxist likes fighting, so he chooses Redoran. I do agree that Hlaalu is filled with scum. But Telvanni certainly is not.

Therana and Dratha are just old and cenile. They don't do Skooma. And whats wrong with being Cenile? Therana is one of the best reasons to be in Telvanni!

not to mention Telvanni gives you the best rewards. I.e., The gloves Aryon gives you, and the amulet you get from Fast Eddie.

Telvanni Architecture I agree with Marxist about. You like it or you don't.

The tower is one hell of a walk to get to... but thats what the CS is for, right?

Just had to defend my house.

Just decided on which house to pick (finally).

Going for Redoran, based on the fact that their Stronghold sounds the best, the armour (which i will porbably sell) sounds good, and the Redoran council halls are in an easy-access area.

I miss anything?

Redoran is fine. When you've done it re-load and play Telvanni. Owing to a bug in the system you can play Hlaalu as well with either of those though some of the quests clash.

Morrowing is not a game it's a life!

Hi loveme4whoiam

IATYQ

Right through twice; once as Redoran and once as Hlaalu. Then I played Telvanni until I reached the top of the Wizard tree. I keep a couple of saved games each time to go back and fill out omissions from time to time.

I start new games to try out mods and usually play as Redoran (though I don't always join a Great House) partly because I play as a (Nord) fighter and also because the Redoran/Hlaalu clash is less dramatic than the Telvanni/Hlaalu one - IIRC.

Have completed Tribunal but don't find it as interesting as the main game. Bloodmoon is better in my opinion and I still have some quests to go in that outside the main one.

ITRW I live in London UK but most of the time you'll find me on Vardenfell having a drink in The Eight Plates Balmora, entertaining the patrons with ribald jokes and inventing Bosmer repellent.

Which is your favourite bar?

Cool. I have (as yet) not finished the Trib and Bloodmoon main quests (i have already made public my reasons; ie fool friend stole my old discs and my PC [which, BTW, is SWEET :D ])

My fav bar? Depends on my mood but generally the one in Suran... you know the one that i mean. Sooner or later, EVERYONE knows that bar...

ITRW (what does that mean? *a man who has never used an internet chatroom* and IATYQ) I live down in the Southwest (Plymouth to be exact) but when i can get away am either browsing the plains for any Alits i missed (god i love that place - full draw distance looks sweet) or staring at Crasius Curio while sharpening my diakatana - "one day, my friend, one day" *whetstone rasps against the blade, with an earnest more potent that its masters*

Rock on.

ITRW - In the real world. I think I made it up.

What's a chat room? Don't answer that, I can guess from all we hear on the news. I've only been able to access the internet for about two months so I am ubergreen.

You asked other people's opinions of houses as if you were only going to play one game. It won't happen like that. The game will get you, you will have hollow eyes, your colleagues (schoolmates, to oaps or somewhere in between as appropriate) will hear only grunts and he occasional '****! Where did that come from?' and strange burbled references like 'Switch peregrine to stampede'.

So it don't really matter.
