kieranfoy
During the Fighters Guild quests, one is called upon to find an ancient pendant belonging to Saint Alessia, the founder of the Empire. The necklace itself is a plainish thing, tattered gold and twisted wire with a rough rock int he setting, but it seems to have quite a lot of symbolic importance for the worshippers of the Nine. Unfortunately, it's set up as a misscelaneous item, not a wearable necklace. I think it'd be nifty if someone would model a working, wearable version. The mesh in the game already isn't suitable for a nacklace, but it'd make a fine ground mesh. Someone would have to take the mesh, and alter it so it would fit around a player's neck. Tricky stuff, necklace making, I'm sure, but as the model of the pendant itself and the texture already exist in game, half the work's done. Now, it'd complicate the quest to change the Stone of Alessia item to a necklace, but after the quest, when Cirrow removes the Stone from your inventory, you could add a small script into the quest scripts that enable a display case and copy of the Stone necklace in the Bruma chapel. Then one could simply steal the stone. Thank's for readin, if in fact you did, and if you need more baclground on the stone, look here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:The_Stone_of_St._Alessia
Deleted1848331User
Funny how I haven't made it that far into the Fighter's Guild, even though I've had oblivion for like 2 years, one and a half on my PS3 and a few months on the PC. I found it in the CS though. It would make a very cool neckalce. Instead of a display case, you could make it so the guy equips it and takes it off when he goes to sleep or something. Just throwing out some ideas
kieranfoy
Well, I seem to recall that Cirroc said the artifact belonged to the church. It's like the Shroud of Turin, really. You don't see the Pope wearing the Shroud as a cape, do you?
Deleted1848331User
I haven't completed or gotten that far in the Fighters' Guild. Ever. So I didn't know lol. And whats the Shroud of Turin lol?
kieranfoy
You're kidding me? Shroud Jesus was supposed to be buried in? Has a weird pattern on it people cliam is his face? It's been dated a forgery? Ringing any bells? Anyway, point is, priests don't wear huge important holy artifacts. They're too much. And you really should play it through. The Fighters Guild quests are actually pretty good.
