FOIP's EVE and FWE 6.01 patch

I am only using 4 major mods that have the FOIP compatibility patches for them. These would be:

 

Wanderer's Edition

Mart's Mutant Mod

Weapon Mods Kit

Energy Visuals Enhanced

 

Only EVE doesn't have the 6.03 compatibility patch. I am wondering if this is critically important? When I fire the YK42B, it actually shows a giant exclamation mark if I go into third person view. Sometimes, I also see a [i have no idea how to describe] after my lasers hit something. There are probably more laser guns that would do this, but I haven't explored much.

 

Any suggestions?

Nevermind I forgot to grab the important update patch *facepalm*. The problems shown in the pics are gone.
