There is NO importing of saves from DAO/DA2 into DAI. None. Zero. Zip. Nada. (And any other way of saying it won't/can't/doesn't happen.)

You can either use the default "world-state" (ws) that comes with DAI, or you can build a custom one in the Dragon Age Keep.

But even with the Keep, THERE IS NO IMPORTING OF A SAVE FROM AN EARLIER GAME.

So there is absolutely no point is asking for someone else's saved game.

(And the difference between using your previous characters from the old BioWare sites in the Keep, and starting scratch, is only about four mouse-clicks. )

There is no file from the the Dragon Age Keep to "upload here". (None. Zero. Zip. Nada.)

The only way to get a world-state (ws) from the Keep into DAI is

1. in the Keep, set the WS to be imported

2. Connect to the internet from the computer/console on which you're playing DAI

3. Start DAI

4. Sign-in as the same player who made the WS in the Keep

5. Choose "Start New Game --> Import WS"

If you want to import a WS, the way the game is coded it MUST connect to the EA/Dragon Age servers to obtain it.

NOTE: You can "Share" your WS with other players within the Keep, so they could see/use one of yours (or vice versa.) But that stays "in the Keep". Still need to connect from the machine on which you want to play the game in order to use it!
