crippknottick
I used the blackberry mesh and the stem of the apple mesh to make antennae. I can't seem to make them into a playable mesh though. I tried copying the branches into head meshes, hair meshes and helmet meshes, but all of my attempts didn't work. They either made the whole head mesh become invisible revealing the back of the eyes and mouth (which looks really creepy), or it would just crash the construction set and game. Any advice on how to make this work? The results I'm trying to get are similar to this: Pic 1 - Pic 2 Here are the meshes I've been experimenting with in my efforts to create a working head, hair, helmet, or even an ear mesh with the antennae. http://rapidshare.com/files/420022135/namek_resources.zip
kieranfoy
Check out Sickleyields' Elytra armor. She has equipable antenae, maybe you could reverse engineer it.
crippknottick
I just downloaded the Elytra armor and checked out the antennae mesh in Nifskope. I noticed that both antennae were one mesh as both were highlighted when one was selected. My make-shift apple stem/blackberry antennae are made up of multiple meshes that had their blocks copy-pasted into one nif file. Is this perhaps my problem? Is there a way to combine all the pieces of my antennae into one mesh?
kieranfoy
I haven't a clue. Maybe PM Sickleyeild?
crippknottick
I managed to bring the mesh count down to 2 from 8 using the Combine Properties -> Combine Shapes method in NifSkope. I still need to reduce it into one single selectable mesh but the method isn't working anymore at this point. I'm stuck at 2. Can somebody merge these two meshes in the nif file into one selectable mesh? It would be greatly appreciated. I'm becoming frustrated with this task. alonsomartinez
Its what makes the models works. You have to rig it to the skeleton in order for it to move
