Povuholo
In morrowind you had the dialogue option taunt, which you could use to trick someone in attacking you, allowing you to kill him without any trouble with the guards. There is the frenzy spell, but is that all? One of the 4 options you see during persuasion is taunt, but even when they have 0 points disposition and you choose taunt as the last option, they won't do anything. While they do attack npc's they hate sometimes. So is it possible, or not? Except for the frenzy spell.

The frenzy spell would be it, though. It's the only option.
Vagrant0
I believe this change was made mostly to keep the random slaughter of NPCs to a minimum. In some ways it's good, means that you can't walk up to any NPC, taunt them, kill them, and take their stuff. Instead you would have to assult them with a weapon, or spell, increasing your infamy, making no such thing as a clean murder.

In MW, you kill anyone without reprecussions if you just taunted them enough(which means if you had enough money or speechcraft you could be a mass murderer). This was made worse by the fact that you got your bribe money BACK when you killed them. It was fun though .

Well, seeing as the purebread Dark Elves live in "Tough Elf Land", I now see it fitting that (among other things) you being to verbally assault (sp?) people without getting in trouble. But, since the citizens of Cyrodiil have been "wussified", they're to afraid to sentence a mass-murderer to death. And, you don't really need to taunt them to piss them off, they're to scared to be pissed off at you (thus the 'coerce' (sp?) topic), so it'd be really pathetic to taunt them, 'cause every time you taunt them, they end the coversation and run around, and you having a really hard time killing them. Just think, even the GUARDS WHO ARE TWENTY FEET AWAY WOULD RUN AWAY ;D ! I liked Dark Elves in Morrowind, and liked that the guards don't get pissed off at the Thieves' Guild being in Cornerclubs.
