Daedric Ruins

i don't find it weird at all. I think that there should not be shrines here, as far as the architecture goes i think that Beth could of, should of, but didn't do better with the style of houses in game. I.C. should have had like all the surrounding cultures around the center hub of the new imperial style of culture and architecture. As for someone making a mod that introduces Deadric shrines into oblivion; I am all down for cause I think that it would be fun to try to stop a Dumner invasion, where you have to kill like all of the shrine leaders. but I'm letting my imagination get the better of me, this would have to be an expansion pack or similar. All i know in the end you end up back in Morrowind but this time to fight Vivec (muha ha ha) i get another Azura's star i get another Vivec soul.

[edit] i live a very exiting life and i find myself awake for 140 hrs plus every week partying and carrying on into the night then i work every day @ a college. so i am often really really tired while posting. but the answer to your question is yes i will try to use better grammer. grammer is not a strong skill that i possess.

Another cool @$$ idea would be if you could pick up your old stash of stuff from morrowind in morrowind (not going to happen)any-time soon.

What i mean by there architectural culture is that there would have to be culture lore made up cause we haven't really seen the cultures of every race in oblivion, or even morrowind for that matter. Each section of the Imperial City should be dedicated to one of the Providences so that this would be an accurate representation of how a capital city would function correctly. Yes i do see more diversity in certain cities in oblivion. I find it lacking and or non-existing in the rest of the cities and populated area's with an exception to borderwatch. The main problem though is the i.c. i find it very unrealistic, even for fantasy RPG.

ex. if you were to go to New York City then you would see the cultures have sectioned them selves out into classifications. it's a sad part of reality but never-the-less true part of it. I think that when i go to IC i want to see the different cultures that make up that city in their natural living conditions. I Want to see these cultures mixed together in the center to represent city down-towns like times square, that's all. I'm not actually trying to say that i don't like the architecture of the game i love it i just would like to see more different varieties of it. This doesnt go for all of the cities cause i don't think that every city would be a center for cultural diversity. overall oblivion is a exellent game and i enjoy playing it very much.

The shrines in morrowind were different( they were usally indoors ) I think they were indoors and then you had to fight to get to them, giving the sence of reward apon defeating the enemies now you just have to qualify. They were usally inside of a complex maze of structures that were jagged and strangely angled. The doors were usally hidden and took some looking to find(comparable to the aylids ruins in oblivion).

Wow  . You sure do have a good... well, I don't know what to call it. Not an idea, something else... whoa, you mean like Morrowind? Just with more than just Imperial and Dark Elven architecture? Well, that's in Cheydinhal and Bruma... anyway, that was hard to read. But, I read it and that's what matters. Just after having to re-read it several times. Can you please use good grammar? It makes it really hard to read afterward.

Well, anyway, to be on topic, I think there aren't any Daedric ruins (also) because there are Daedric Shrines with worshipers (maybe they were Daedric ruins until [Daedra Lord's name] turned them into elves/humans/beasts/Orcs) instead of Daedric ruins everywhere.

The Shrines were in Morrowind too....

I have no problem with the classical architecture in Oblivion. In fact I think they have a very nice array from marble to plank to stone. I would have preferred myself that the IC was a bit more Roman in style, especially the Arena (imagine the spectacle that could have been, an Arena half the size of Lleyawin!).

A Circus Maximus - we could have participated in the races on our horsies....that could have been bloody awesome. And that is the stuff missing IMO. I'm gonna suggest Horse Races to the IC reborn group now....
