Leeblebee
How does one go about removing things in the New Vegas world? I've seen a few Mods where people have "cleaned up" New Vegas by removing junk such as empty bottles, tin cans, etc. I love the idea of a dead wasteland with a completely dry desert from plant life. I'm talking about the Barrel Cacti and the banana yucca, the maize plant, pretty much everything that has to do with using your survival skill when it comes to plants. How would one go about removing them from the game, is it a relatively easy task? I've been trying to figure out how to do it for a while now and any help would be greatly appreciated. Leeblebee
If someone were to mod that for me I'd be willing to negotiate a price for your efforts (:
bioshards
its pretty easy, just go in the GECK and disable the reference for a specific piece of scenery. example: you want to get rid of a specific type of bush in the game, go to the 'world objects' section on the bottom left, go to that specific bush, right click>delete. save it in an esp, activate it with your mod manager of choice, and bob's your uncle, you will never see that type of bush anywhere in the whole gameworld, this works for all plantlife and terrain in the game. but be warned, some objects may seem useless, but they might be important for a quest, and some might be covering up a hole or a gap, so be weary at what you delete
bioshards
there's also the option of removing individual world objects piece by piece, which would take hours, so i wouldnt recommend it
