crashes on save

Hello,

 

First I will say that I read the other topics on the subject, but I have no idea how to make my case work after reading them.

 

I use the steam version of oblivion (official patch applied on install) on Windows 7, running OBSE.

I'm pretty new to installing mods (the other times I installed 10 or 20 at most, and never had any problem), and due to the large amount of mods, I would prefer not to have to try each mod and all combinations based on conflicts (there are really a lot of conflicts).

 

I already used BOSS et Oblivion Mod Manager.

My saved game (as it crashes when I try to save or fast save) is corrupted, so I got really no clue.

 

Thank in advance to all that will be able to give me some hints and/or answers so I can play those good mods.

I would say you should take off your mods in large groups of like maybe 25% of your mods at once. When you take off a group and your game starts working, then you carefully add and remove the mods in that group until you isolate the bad mod.

 

Sometimes savegames become corrupted so bad it is best to abandon them. You can test with a new or different character to see if he or she has crashes on save. If not, then the problem is with corrupted savegames and you do not need to change your mod list and load order at this time.

As for corrupted save, it comes from the game crashing when I try to save, so I doubt it is the real problem, I just tried to reload and found them corrupted.

I assume it is because the saving process can't finish properly.

 

EDIT:

 

After testing, it appears that it is Cyrodiil Economic Overhaul that didn't want to work as expected.

At all, because with only SI and and Oblivion, it still doesn't work, too bad, I'll have to research for the bank mod alone^^
