Imiona
So its Christmas and thx to my Grandma i can buy a new GPU. I already have a decent one in my System (GTX 760) but i want to buy a GTX 970. I never used SLI before, my Question is, can i run both GPU's in my System even they are not the same? Or do i have to get 2 GTX 760/GTX 970 for example? I have a 750W Powersupply, is that enough? Thx
VileTouch
nope. you need 2 identical cards for SLI. kudos to your grandma though. wish mine would give me for a couple of GTX Titans

FMod
750W what brand and model?Generally it's a little low for 2x970 unless it's a good model. Fine for 2x760.2x760 SLI will generally perform about the same as a single 970. If going this route, you must find out what exact model of 760 you have, since there are several variations, to make sure SLI will work.
