Problems getting TMP hair in character creator

Hello Everybody,

Having trouble getting the following haircut into the CC:

http://social.bioware.com/project/2224/

I have put an additional line in my chargenmorph file under female hair:

<resource name="hf_har_hb7704_0" cut="1" />

I put the "hf_har_hb7704_0.msh" in my override files. But the hair is not coming up in CC. There is only a female without hair... very strange.

Do I need to put any more files in the override file?? There are also different mmh and phy files in the download and I do not have a clue, which ones I need to put where... :wallbash:

Is maybe the line, which I put in the chargenmorph wrong???

Would appreciate any help!!! I have really no clue what I am doing wrong....

Thanks very much!

Dani

Make sure it's within the <hair> <human female> </human female> </hair> section. Tho I'm sure you did already.

Try putting the additional files within a new folder, for testing purposes labeled "data test" containing all the MMH and PHY files you mentioned.

if that don't work, try "cut 2" instead of 1.

That's all I can think of really. Hope this helps a little.

Also - Double check to make sure there's not multiple files of the chargenmorph.xml. If there is, I believe there's a program that combines various files into 1 somewhere in the dragonagenexus.com site? I forget where it is... Or you can manually combine them and delete any extras.

I would recommned uninstalling/removing this mod, (and undoing/restoring your chargenmporph file) then re-installing it and using this: "CharGenMorph Compiler by TerrEx" on Nexus to handle getting everything into the .xml correctly.

And not just for this particular mod, but all of those wonderful "additions" out there that make changes to CC. As great as they are, it's a bear to try to mange those edits manually!

But the compiler only put several chargenmorph files into a single one, does it? So if there is no chargenmorph file with the TMP hair, this would not really help me, or???

I think I see what the problem is. The link you have is for a Leliana morph package, not a chargen package. That same author also made the tucked hairstyles mod that is here:

http://social.bioware.com/project/2595/

This one does have the chargen xml as an optional file, and then can be used with the chargen compiler for the use in the CC. As for if that particular hairstyle is in the tucked hair mod I do not know, but as it is from the Leliana mod you would have access to the hair in the toolset only.

Essentailly, there has to be for it to appear/function correctly in the CC. I know that for "Tucked Hair", the .xml was a seperate download from the main file. Took me looking twice to see/get it.

Ahhhh, thank you Dan. Was wondering why a harirstyle mod wouldn't have the .xml, but as a full .mor, it wouldn't need it.

Yeah, it's a package morph similar to the one that WolfheartHU made for Wolverine at my Requested mod. All the needed files for the morph are in a folder for the one head. In WH's case head file, skin texture (beard), and eye texture. This Leliana is a similar type package.
