sychodelix Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Every time K-9 finds me in Megaton and I let him join, he just walks slowly away and you are unable to talk to him at all. I'm sure it has something to do with a mod conflict or order or something like that. Also, I always get Conflict Detected messages when I start a new game, generally with followers. Is there a specific reason this is happening or does it do that to everybody? Anyways, it has to be something with FOOK2 because the problem was there before I installed other mods afterwards. Here's my load order. anokii Posted September 23, 2010 Share Posted September 23, 2010 FOOK2 (v1.1) has the Phalanx mod which is a companion mod, it can conflict with other companion mods so care should be taken and personally I wouldn't use any other follower mods with FOOK2. Hmm, load order looks okay - have you checked FOOK2 for the latest patch/hotfix? http://www.fookunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4307If your good to go as far as FOOK2 is concerned I'd try a merge patch - can sometimes fix these little issues. Oh yeah - you could always talk to Gary (avatar for the Phalanx companions - outside Megaton ) - in his dialog you can find some troubleshooting topics and some reset topics. sychodelix Posted September 23, 2010 Author Share Posted September 23, 2010 (edited) Next to latest hotfix let me start the game, but even merged (or even bashed!), didn't get rid of follower conflicts. The latest hotfix gives me ANOTHER problem, where game starts with black screen only hearing birth and then stops responding. Haven't seen anybody else with this problem either... Fixed it finally. Apparently because I was downloading the wrong hotfixes (because they weren't in the right place) and that was the problem. Once I found the correct ones, there are no more follower conflicts and no more other problems so far. Looks like everything is fine now. I'll post again if something else goes wrong.
