loudpro
Alrighty, I'm trying to find some decent mods and I was hoping that some of the members here might be willing to help. You see, unlike most of you (it seems) I do not plan on playing this game over and over again. Maybe a second time through after I complete it once, but even then it is a maybe. That being said I don't really belong in this scene of finding new mods, configuring them, trying them out, etc. I'd like to find the mods I want before I ever even start playing, install them, and then play through the game. Crazy I know, but that's just how I've always done things! I did the same thing with Oblivion and it was glorious. Anyway, the mods I'm looking for are armor/body mods. I've seen the natural body all in one collection, but from what I can tell that seems to only modify the characters when they're naked? I don't really care about that. I'd like for the characters to have more appealing bodies, sure, but the armor they wear on top of their clothing needs to reflect that. I find it odd that there's no mod that changes the game's default armor sets to "fit" the natural bodies mod, so maybe I just haven't found it? I used the emesh mod in Oblivion and there were 2-3 conversion mods to choose from in that game. This is such a big deal to me that if it actually doesn't exist, I will wait until someone makes it to play DA:O. I'm actually surprised that it is so hard to find... I would have thought it would be the absolute first thing made for this game. Well, thanks for reading my first post... I'm hoping I'll be able to find what I'm looking for. Thanks! danscott84
The body models do not work the same for DA as they do in Oblivion. The armor/clothing/nude models are all seperate models independent of each other. I know that Oblivion the armor depended on the body underneath, but in DA that is not the case. Hence the reason for a lot of armors not to be based on the nude body models. There are some good armor models that restructure the model to be more feminine for females, but not much variation for males. Also depends on ow much skin you want as to which armor/clothing mods you want to have. If you want just slender females, xeltech has a good mod here and tmp07 has three good ones at Bioware Social Network. For more exposed armors those made by Oldwolfe, hsli, and Firinneach should fit what you are looking for.
loudpro
Thank you. :) I'll check some of those armor re-skins out and start my game.
