vyserr
I have Pineapple Tree Colours LIGHT. More Hairstyles and Dracomies True Textures all installed in the correct place. Then I use the thing in the DAO: Redisigned to install Drakkomi Zevran. He appears in game with half a skull, where the hair is, there is simply nothing. Can someone please help me T_T
DarkeWolf
Heyas! Welcome to the nexus!did you update your chargenmorphcfg.xml file to include the new additions such as hair and textures? If not, then you will most likely see that kind of results, unless somebody goofed and added a hair to a character that is for a different race or gender.TerraEx's chargen compiler works wonders for updating your chargenmorphcfg file. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=971Just remember to set it to remove the old copies after it compiles, or you'll have issues. You may also need to update your ms.net files in order for it to work, depending on what version of windows you have. If so, you can get those here- http://www.microsoft.com/net/ Hope this helps, and again... Welcome to the nexus! :)
vyserr
Alright I did all that and the same result occurred. The face is the one from Darkammi's model but its still half a skull. Should I try installing old versions of More Hairstyles possibly? I looked through the hairstyles on the Char. Creation screen and the one from this model only exists on human males
DarkeWolf
Yeah, you can try an older version of the mod to see if theres an elven version in there. The problem is, is that its asking for a body part that isnt for the type of body that it is. Human on an elf character. You may need to end up contacting Dracomies himself and politely let him know what's going on with the mod and ask him to see what he can do about it. OR you could create an elven male character in the character creator with the hair that you want to use. then play the game til you can get to a savepoint. Once you can create a savepoint you can run newbypower's Face Replacer on the save, and extract a .mor file from it.http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=428. If you dont already have the toolset, you can google it using "Bioware.com dragon age toolset" or "fileplanet dragon age toolset" as your search parameters, and you should find it for download ;) Once you've done that .mor file created with the hair that you want, open that .mor file up in the toolset. Now look for a part of the file that reads Morph Parts and click the + next to it to expand it. Look for a part that has "em_" (for elf male) such and such "har_" (for hair) such and such. THATS the name of the hair file that you used. Now left click ONCE on the name of the hair, and then RIGHT click on it and choose copy. Now open up the Zevran Morph file. It will be in the folder for Dracomie's files, named em_genfl_zevrahn.mor (Or however his actual name is spelled) .Locate that area where his hair is listed. Left click ONCE in the area where his hair is listed, then RIGHT click once and then choose paste value Here's a pic to help you out with what I'm talkin about. Tho its for a DIFFERENT CHARACTER. Ser Cauthrien, a HUMAN FEMALE. So some of the names are gonna be HF rather than EM like they will be for Zev. But, you get the idea at least of what to look for. ;)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/DarkeWolf/hairhelp.jpg Edited September 25, 2010 by DarkeWolf
vyserr
Yep it was the version of More Hairstyles, the 5.1 version doesn't have all of the same that 5.0 does. Thanks so much for your help!
DarkeWolf
Interesting! I didnt know that they had removed some of the hairstyles from the mod. I really appreciate you passing the word along on that!
