ramare
"I was wandering around the Imperial City, looking in the crates for stuff to sell (Ey, Urbul gro-Orkulg's kunai are expensive, man!), when I heard footsteps. At first I thought it was a guard, and that they had found the body of the Red Diamond Jewelry guy (Yes, I have no idea what his name is, he's so useless. Only useful if you enjoy bling. (Or robbing people >:3)), and they were coming for me, so I ran. But then I realized "Hey, they wear armor. I'm being followed by clothed feet." and turned around. And noticed Delos Fandas was following me. At first I talked to him, and thought nothing of it, and walked away. He continued following me. After a few more steps, I decided to let me feet do the talking and start sprinting, turning around every once and a while to see him still following me! I ran outside of the city walls, and he stopped chasing me after a while; but it still weirds me out...Why was he following me?" Maybe he wanted to do unspeakable things to my character...Whether you take that from option A or option B is your choice (And says more about you than me. Pervert.).Option A: He has a thing for flat-chested catgirls. (Those crazy Dunmer, eh?)Option B: He was friends with Hamlof (I looked his name up!), and he saw my character leaving his store, walked in, curios as to if he made a sale, saw the body, and decided not to report my character; but to take action into his own hands. This thread is partly because I find this, and the possible reasons behind it, to be rather humorous, and partly because I wonder if there's a reason why this is happening, and if there's a fix for it.This "problem" in and of itself, is a non-issue, the problem lies within me not being able to ransack the Imperial City if I'm being followed, and watched! (By the Nine, I'm starting to sound like Glarthir!)
Ferryt
I have to believe something has glitched out, here, or maybe you have an obscure mod installed that alters Delos Fandas' behavior in some way. I know of nothing that should get him to follow the PC. My only interactions with him have involved a very limited set of dialog lines then we part ways. Hint: He's not tagged "essential" and he follows you out of the city. You can get rid of him and he serves no really important function in the game (no quests or anything are related to him). On the other hand, try leading him back to the The Feed Bag and then attempt to buy something from him to see if he'll then stay put.
Pushkatu
This sounds indeed like a funny story. Oblivion is full of them and once you get to know the game better you'll notice many more. I haven't heard of this before, it might be a bug, mayby one related to a mod you use. If you do use any mod, feel free to post your load order. It'll help people help you  Cheers,Pushkatu! schijnn
Clearly, you are delusional. All the information I needed to come to this conclusion is included in the following quote:Option A: He has a thing for flat-chested catgirls. Why do I say this? Simple. There are no such things as flat-chested catgirls. It is a known fact that catgirls are naturally very busty. Thus, if you perceive your catgirl to be flat-chested, you are delusional. Like people who don't think FO3 is just Oblivion with more brown, gray, and firearms, or worse than (Modded, not vanilla, God no!) S.T.A.L.K.E.R. And they did include cup sizes down the spectrum from D with HGEC. Mine is using the smallest available, actually. Just a step up from flat-as-a-brick.More cute, less absurd, less...ermh...distracting. And certainly makes more sense with speedy short-blade wielding thief-ey types. Just like I said in a private message: "I also especially like the HGEC body when it has AA cup size, because then it's proportional. It gives more life to the look of the ultra-fit ultra-thin assassin or thief characters. besides, I like my character the way they look now. I'd just like to have the option of giving them armor, because I already have enough clothing outfits through a combination of your mod, and a certain modder's mods store." ramare
Although I think I figured out the problem: I have Ren's Guard Overhaul, and I think the settings may be botched up a bit, for it: Sometimes NPCs will just run around, and cower, if you commit a crime, because they're supposed to go report it to a guard, but for some reason they don't. That is a rare bug for me, so maybe this is a mutation of it, since I pickpocketed a vault key off of a vault guard, and he likely saw. I still like my more humorous, completely impossible reasons, though...
schijnn
Hehe. I was, of course, kidding. Good that you seem to have figured it out, though! Also, just out of curiosity, is there much in the way of clothing and armor for the HGEC AA-cup body? Ferryt
Ah! Reneer's Guard Overhaul, yes. I also use that, and I've found that it's glitchy at times. Great mod, but it can occasionally introduce some oddities into the game. I have noticed, on occasion, NPCs following the PC after the PC commits a crime, although I hadn't attributed that to RGO, specifically. I even had a guard following me around once after I accidentally toggled into sneak mode and he didn't quit following me, even after I toggled back out, until I left IC. As for the off-topic discussion of cat girls and HGEC, I used to use HGEC until I discovered Roberts's female body replacement. HGEC always bothered me because of the matchstick arms. Where it shines, though, is in the range of body types and breast sizes because, really, not all of us like our female characters disproportioned. I used the average body and "C" or under breasts, and I fully agree with ramare -- the breast sizes from "B" down make a lot more sense for the slim, trim, athletic character. All you need do is look at any high-trained female athlete who doesn't have breast implants and you can see that the big-breasted heroines of the fantasy genre are not "reality". You really can't have ginormous boobs AND have a body with no excess fat at the same time. Biology doesn't work that way.

Sometimes, when I have the impression that the game is becoming somehow linear and way to familiar, something crazy happends and destroys that sad illusion of linearity. Sometimes things get out of control, but yeah it's worth taking some risks when installing mods, just for the fun of it. Cheers,Pushkatu! kruddpm
Oh i love oblivion lol Its just the little things in the games like these that just make it that much more enjoyable. Little things, that are out of the ordinary and are no real problem but just that extra surprise something to the game
