CobraSA
Please some clarification about mods requiring OBSE. Using the obse_loader.exe directly launches the game without mod selection screen. So do I have to use OblivionLauncher and select mods then quit it, then launch obse_loader which will remember mods I have selected? Is launching game via obse_loader required for the mods to work (those requiring obse) or are there others way to make them work via the official exe? TIA
Axxaw
you can launch obse with oblivion mod manager or wrye bash by default, and they have the interface to enable mods as well.
bben46
Any mod that requires OBSE will automatically use it - IF you launch with the OBSE launcher OR use the built in launchers in either OBMM or Wrye Bash. They will check to see if OBSE is installed and if it is launch it first. Note: I always use OBMM to start Oblivion. Then use the 'Launch Oblivion' button in the upper right corner. You will need to use the launcher EVERY time you start the game. The mods that require OBSE must be checked on your mod list or in OBMM just like any other mod. If you do have a mod that needs OBSE and you fail to use the launcher to start the game, that mod will not work and it may crash your game. If no mod requires OBSE and you launch using OBSE, the game will work just fine.
CobraSA
Never heard of OBMM before. OBMM installed and working fine. Thanks very much. =)
