Oddjobbob
I had an idea for a mod but i have no Construction Set or the PC version so if any one could help me out here. For the person who decides to help me here's the idea When you leave the sewers, your character thinks about what happened and a second quest opens up in which you find out what cult is behind the emporers murder yourself. When you find a Commentary, your character realizes who the cult is, if you do the whole green emporer way thing and go to the Dagon Shrine you'll have a choice to join. (not to fool them, to actually join them) They'd be a faction. I'll give guild quest ideas from there as soon as someone decides to help me out. Vagrant0
Been requested several times, within a few years someone might get around to doing the Mythic Dawn as a playable faction. Though I would imagine it to be low priority as this would conflict heavily with the main quest. Better question would be why you care as you can't use mods other than the Official (read useless) plugins on the xbox version.
Oddjobbob
I just thought it would intrest the people who DO have the PC version. I always wanted to make mods since i got the game but i couldnt and with the whole main story conflicting thing. There wouldve been a choice, the mythic dawn would become your main story if you chose that path

There wouldve been a choice, the mythic dawn would become your main story if you chose that path It's not a bad idea, it would just require a nearly complete overhaul of many things in the game, and an effective rewrite of the main quest. Then there is the important question... Aside from being able to play the bad guy, what does it offer? What, you go around killing people? Isn't that what the dark brotherhood does? Go on a conquest destroying the towns? Kinda a waste really, from both a modding standpoint, and a playing one. Sure, see them burn, but do you realize how much modding it would take just to transform one town to a smouldering heap of rubble? Serve a Daedric lord, and earn glory in his conquest? Right, you think MC would let you steal his glory? Have you seen the life the other followers have? No thanks. For all the work required, for all the problems you'd create related to everything (most mods, future expansions, most the sidequests... everything), you don't really get anything from it. In morrowind you could join the 4th house, and it wouldn't have affected anything. In Oblivion, the sides are so clearly enforced that to go against the grain would be nearly impossible, and would be a rather empty reward.
