I one shot everything

Hello dear people of the internet.

 

I happen to have a rather big problem with my Oblivion install : even though my character is level 1, he one shots everything, with any weapon, even the rusty dagger from the tutorial.

The difficulty slider doesn't change anything, except the damage made by the enemy. My stats are normal. I just don't understand this.

So if anyone knows a fix or something...

Seems like you have a mod adding high damage to the player character, while keeping the damage of other actors unchanged. Maybe there's an option for this in Unnecessary violence III. Disabling it (and possibly some other mods) should show what mod is responsible.

Okay, so UVIII was not the source of the problem, so I used the second method. What I should have done from the start really. I did not find the responsible ( though it seems like it was a CM partners plugin ), but fixed the problem, so thanks.

 

This post is dedicated to the guard of the Imperial Watch I kept killing during the tests.
