How to tell if NVSE/Project Nevada installed?

Hello Forums!

 

I'm trying to install Project Nevada and it needs New Vegas Script Extender I downloaded it and supposedly installed it but I'm not sure. I go to install Project Nevada using Nexus Mod Manager and it launches an installer with only the buttons "Install" and "Exit" so I click "Install" and the installer closes. NMM goes throught the normal mod installation process but the little marker next to Project Nevada is still an X. I try to install the mod again and it gives me the error "no more then one mod can be installed at one time." I then go to launch NV and see that nothing is different. So that returns to my original questions of "how do I know when NVSE/Project Nevada are installed?"

 

The mods I currently have enabled are:

Conelrad 640 1240 radio

mlp loading screens

When You Launch New Vegas Through FNV4GB.exe Or Through NVSE.exe NVSE Should Be Active This Is Also Seeable When YOu Navigate To My Documents -> My Games -> FalloutNV -> Saves Than There Should Be Beneath Your Normal Save A .nvse file For Example One Of My Saves Is Called rex.fos (Original Save File) (.fos = FallOutSave Or Something Like This) And Under This Save There Is A File Called rex.nvse This File Is Almost Always Only 1KB Of Size

Wonderful thank you! So if I launch NV through Steam will NVSE still load?

No It Won't Load Because It Launches The Normal FalloutNV.exe And Not The NVSE.exe But Theoretically You Could Rename The FalloutNV.exe To FNV.exe And Rename The NVSE.exe To FalloutNV.exe But I Dont Know If This Works ^^
