I'm just worried about unconsciously using offensive words or phrases.(As well as misunderstanding other people's attitudes)

 

For exmaple, I wanted to used "Hi there." as the title at first, but it seems to have the meaning that " Somebody there come here." Since these words are a bit rude in Chinese, I changed it on second thought.

I agree. This is a very welcoming and open community. I have only been here a few months and have made many new friends from all across the globe. I think you will find that your English skills will not be a problem here. Many people on the Nexus site have English as a second or even third language. Hello and welcome, I'm the official cynic.

 

Your english is fine, trust me when I say most people who speak english natively are a lot harder to understand, and a lot less polite. The Nexus is also a good place to hang around right now, New Vegas will add another section on, and the Oblivion modding community here is one of the best on the entire internet.
