martinthemage
I recently found a 2 pound coin with RIRA stamped across the queens face. After a quick search on Google, I found that RIRA stands for the Real IRA, a terrorist group responsible for bombings somewhere. Apparently defacing the queens face is punishable by death here in England. I was shocked  What do you think about this?
Kazakovich
Well, if modifying coins are all they can amount to these days, then I'd say it's rather good news, compared to them bombing hotels and murdering people. What's their next dastardly plan, trolling the British goverment forums? But in all seriousness, I just hope this means that IRA really is a thing of the past. If I remember correctly, they've mentioned that they would sieze all their violent activities. Hopefully, this doesn't mean 'Hey! No fighting! We'll just gather up more funds and weapons for a while before we go at it again, kk?' like it usually does with groups like these. If they are still around, let's hope that they simply stick to defacing pocket change.
AzirAphale001
I actually found that out in 3rd year Craft and Design when a few of us were bending pennies in half in a vice. Turns out I'm on the run...
