Ranokoa
Okay, so I've been trying to come out with at least one poem per day and post it here in the Nexus. But, I'm starting to have to "look" for inspiration..... Otherwise it's just a boring task. When "inspiration" kicks in, it does so as an epiphany for me. Very clear, all at once knowledge of how to proceed within a couple seconds. SO: I'm now opening myself up to write subject requested poems. Simply post here what kind of poem, topic of it, etc that you want me to write and I will do so. I will pick one poem to write from people per day. If I see two or more ideas that I like, I will only POST one of those poems per day. But they will be posted. It is very likely that I will not choose or reply to every request there is. Do not worry, I will read every comment and request before I write a poem, but will only pick my favorite request at the time to write about. There is no need to double post, "remind" me of your post, or anything about a specific topic. If I "overlook" it and don't write anything about it for a few days it's safe to assume I won't be writing about it. So you can know that I am paying attention, I will be keeping an up-to-date listing below on THIS POST of the requested poem I am currently writing, ones I plan to write, and of course links to those I have already written. If you posted a request and twoish days go by and you don't see me posting "planning to write" about it, assume I won't. This can go in one of two ways: Lots of people requesting poems and in this scenario making it hard for me to be fair and get everyone's request in... OR: So little people care about literature or poetry, or at least in this way, that there will be barely any replies to this or requests. ^.^ So it's a wait-n-see game. Below is the criteria for which I will be writing. Do not request a poem if it is completely the opposite of the following: 1) Dark sided: Usually when I write a poem, or anything, it will either be completely of a dark nature, have an undertone of insanity, crudeness, evil or horror, or whatever-have-you. Requests for uppity yayness and hooray life poems will not be taken.2) Usually rhyming: I like to rhyme. Although I will if requested and I like the request not rhyme, I like the challenge of making it fluid and clear using rhymes.3): Long, medium, short: I will write any size. But don't expect a two liner or a book >_<4) A message within: I usually like to convey something with my poems. Sometimes not, but I usually like to have reason to them.5) Basically, the only thing you really need to worry about is number 1. If I feel nice and in a mood that is good I might do a poem by request that isn't absolutely horrid. But don't expect it to be made public. If you want a poem to be written for you for "the love of your life" but you yourself haven't the skill I might do you this favor, but I will only give it through PM and not post it publicly. HOWEVER, all poems written by me are my own. I will credit the idea giver, but do not attempt to take credit for the writing of it in these forums. I will be keeping a logged, nonpublic, date and time stamped record of every poem for proof-of-ownership that any moderator can see. If I see someone taking credit for a privately given poem I will report it as stolen content. I'm not too much of a mean-spirited person, but I hate thieves. Anyways, request away! Requests can be vague or detailed. But please be serious, even if it's in a joking humor. Accepted request: Write a poem about monkey ninjas killing apples!Unaccepted request: Monkey apples. I can go loopy, but I won't go... ridiculous. At times it can be down all day for two days in a row or more. Although that is rare, it can happen. There might be a lag between when I write it and when you see it. Keanumoreira
I've seen you grow as a writer, so this challenge is appropiate. Alright then, can you write a poem that is about: Dread: Close to suicidal, someone who never has a positive outlook on life. Basically, dark from birth and has a deep hating with everything they speak.Rhyming: If can go either way, but if you can make it work with a rhyme, then go for it.Medium: Not too short, but not too long plz Hope you're up for the challenge my friend; I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with this limited information.
Ranokoa
Mkay. If I am not too loopy in a couple hours I will try this tonight. If not, I will have it up sometime tomorrow. And grow as a writer? I've only shown different perspectives of attitude in just a few poems. The most dated one being a few months old. I don't think there's enough there to show any growth or decay. Lol. Be well, sleep well, fight well, live long.~Ranokoa
satanslilhelper
Hey, how about a poem for my pet guinea pigs, extolling the evil machinations that abound in their efforts to dominate the universe? I'd love to see that! No preference regarding length/rhyming scheme etc. It's all good!

Your not improving only if you think you aren't.
kieranfoy
Howabout a necromancer musing about death and the illusion of peace people assosciate with it, and how the necromancer knows that all the fond illusions people have about peacefull death are a lie? Sort of like an inverse Cymbeline.

Ranokoa
Come on guys! The day is ending and I really don't want to write about hamsters or whatever it was, lol.(No offense... I just don't see myself writing about a little rodent. >_< It'd remind me of my own rodents infesting my house, the two chihuahuas)
