RustyBlade
Satisfy my curiosity please  (I never tried anyone on the first floor so that is why there is a choice #5.) I usually go to Irving but I today I tried Sweeney and may have found a new favorite. Now where is that templar
danscott84
Usually Irving because I don't really much like Jowan. Leorah sometimes is a good one, but then I miss out on the potions she gives for clearing the spiders.

danscott84
Now am I missing somehting somewhere in the game what is the "rod of fire" and where do you find it? The rod of fire is in the mage origin. To help Jowan steal his phylactery, you have to get a rod of fire to make that quest continue. After you escort Duncan back to his room talk to Jowan, you can either betray him and set him up for a fall, or befriend him. Either way you have to get the RoF from Owain in the stockroom, but he tells you first must have a senior enchanter sign a permission form before he will release it to you. RustyBlade
Leorah because she's the easiest  Irving and Sweeney are the easiest, you just talk to them; with Leorah you have to go kill all her spiders.

Now this isn't a mod someone made and is in the original DAO correct? The only Jowan for which I know of is in dungeon for which is in Redcliffe. Guess thats what I get for not having him turned over to the chantry and having him hung.<LOL> Might have to let him be released this time. RustyBlade
You have to play the mage origin to get the rod of fire. It has only one function and that is to allow completion of that origin. It is useless for anything else and you won't get it from Jowan in Redcliffe
Chiramu
I had no idea you could go to other enchanters other than Leorah, my first mage playthrough I talked to all of the senior enchanters and only Leorah actually talked to me :/. I didn't even think you could go to Irving lol XD.
