Here's an old one that I dug out of my archives...

This is Syren... my very first Mystic Elf character. Believe it or not, Syren is the girl who eventually "mutated" into Raven. In other words, Raven started out as Syren here, but I finally decided that Syren didn't look realistic enough to suit me. A few weeks and about 200 tweaks later, Syren's face was transformed into Raven's.

So here she is: Syren -- aka "Raven's grandmother." :P

Cheers.

That really really creeps me out o_O . She looks as if her face got stuck in a vacuum cleaner. I for one prefer Raven ;D .

LOL... yah... well, I guess I was going for the anime look, or something. She has enormous bug eyes, too. She also looks like her face is trying to eat her nose, from the inside-out.

superdave, those are some great shots of Aerith. Good composition. I especially like the trick you used in the first one to get two views of the character.

Rather than show off my orc warrior, Thag gro-Uruk, I'm going to show off his house in Bruma. This is the one he keeps for "public appearances" as the Champion of Cyrodiil, Hero of Bruma, et al; most of the time, he actually lives with his sweetie Mazoga in a quiet little place in Leyawiin.

The front hall, as viewed from the front door.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma02.jpg

Miscellaneous weapon trophies - that's Boreal on the top shelf, Azani Blackheart's Sinweaver, a silver dagger, an ebony dagger that I enchanted with Soul Trap (I was very tempted to call it "Penumbra", but didn't), an unenchanted ebony longsword on the bottom, and a Dremora bow and arrows on the chest.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma03.jpg

My assortment of glass weaponry, next to a mannequin wearing a full suit of Blackwood Company armor. Due to a quirk of the loot generator, almost every weapon shown is "of the Dynamo."

You'll note that I don't make use of trophy case mods, Decorator's Assistant or the like - everything you see here was arranged by hand and/or the Remote Manipulation spell. Yes, I'm a masochist.

The short hall between the foyer and the kitchen/dining room serves as a showcase for an assortment of Dwemer weapons and a mannequin in a set of Mythic Dawn robes.

The original clay and pewter tableware has been put away and replaced with good silver for those VIP lunches.

The view from the bottom of the stairs. More trophies and mannequins.

On top is the ebony claymore, enchanted with lightning, that I used to take a chunk out of Mehrune's Dagon's ankle so Martin and I could run past. (I've left the ding to its condition from that unrepaired.) Below that are Rugdumph's Sword and Thornblade, presented to me by grateful nobles, and a Ruined Akaviri Katana and Shield from Pale Pass.

A mannequin in full dwarven kit, because it looks so nice. Note the enchanted hammer.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma12.jpg

Mankar Camoran's robe. Mankar Camoran's staff. Mankar Camoran's shoes.

Another establishing shot, from the downstairs sitting area.

Of course an orc warrior is going to have a full suit of orcish armor. This is actually the spares - most of it is unenchanted or not his favorite. That glass mace is the Thagomizer, enchanted with a simple and direct Damage Health effect. (Yes, I named the character just for that joke/reference.)

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma15.jpg

An assortment of enchanted arrows of various types. I use the barrel to store my alchemical ingredients. One of these days, this will probably be the start of a very messy fire or other accident.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma16.jpg

My bedroom desk, containing various keys and papers. That's the log of the Emma May.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma17.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma18.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma19.jpg

My personal library. All praise to the book jackets mod for making this look so pretty. The books that Thag doesn't want to leave just lying around, like "Followers of the Grey Fox", are tucked out of sight in the cupboard. I repeat: everything you see here was placed by hand.

(continued)

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma20.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma21.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/cmdrzoom/Oblivion/th_bruma22.jpg

The bed; my jewelry table and dresser, with various gemstones and amulets in the top drawers, clothes in the bottom, and a bowl full of rings; and a chest containing clothing with enchantments and/or sentimental value (a Kvatch cuirass, various other quest rewards, my Stealth Pants, etc) with Volendrung and the Escutcheon of Chorrol on top, in a place of honor within reach of the bed.

And if anyone would like to see this for themselves, or play around with a level 26 orc warrior who's finished the Main Quest and is master of the Fighter's Guild, here's the save file.

Thank you, and good night.
