This kinda thing can be a tad bit complicated for the new folks to the game. But it gets easier with time.Dragon Age comes with a built in installer called daupdater.exe (which is located in the same folders that the game is installed to), however, it's kinda lacking. There's two good installers that you can use. DAModManager (DAMM) and DAModder (DAM)http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=277 (DAMM)http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=286 (DAM) DAMM Is what you are going to need to use to install .override files. Thats the only program that can handle them. And you have to extract the .override file from it's .zip .rar .7zip or .whatever file that it was downloaded in, and drag n drop (DnD) that override file into the Installed Overrides panel of the Dragon Age Mod Manager. Then you'll probably get configuration options, depending on the mod. IF you're working with Natural Bodies all in one, I'd recommend hitting my tutorial for how to do that. It's pretty easy to mess that one up ;) http://www.dragonagenexus.com/articles/article.php?id=38DAMM can handle .dazip and .override files only. DAM can handle .dazip and .zip files. So that gives you a little bit more options there. Both of them also have different additional functions that they can do, so its kind of a tossup between which one you like better, to use more often. You will also need a program that can handle .zip .7zip and .rar formats, as that is the most common formats used for downloading. Once you download one of those, you'll need to have that program so that you can get the .override or .dazip (if provided) files from within, so that they can be installed.winrar, peazip, and 7zip are good freebies that can handle all three formats.
