Ability to skip certain quests (main) ?

I am in desperet need of help ir a solutions to say the least. I have made several characters and all have gone through with no problem with any of the quests, except for the urn of sacred ashes. I get to the gauntlet and answer the riddles but when the door opens no one is there waiting to speak with me, nor do any of the reflections appear. Reloaading does not help. And I really need a solution, like perhaps a mod to skip this quest? Is there already a runscript console cheat that I could use? I have little experience with the console so if there is a solution how do I proceed with it?

The Urn of Sacred Ashes is part of the main quest, and critical to the plot. Thus it is required and not skippable.

 

If the bug is occurring across several saves, it is best to root out the cause and correct the issue, rather than just working around it. So, do you have any mods installed? And if so, what are they? (Bonus question: how did you install them?)

 

There is a debug script for that quest, however, should you be determined to just get on with it and get it over with:

 

runscript zz_urn_debug

Thank you I do have nods installed but none should affect the game (hair mods ext) but I do have a mod that puts a new class into it (dalish mage) if that could be a problem. If I do have to go through with the debug option do I just put that code in and it would be done@

The debug command opens up a dialogue interface with plot points and choices.

 

I've never used the Dalish mage origin mod, so I'm unsure whether it is problematic in any way... and with that being the only non-cosmetic mod in your load, I'm at a loss for an explanation. :sad:
