Could Glarthir's quest be expanded?

Just because Glarthir is paranoid, it doesn't mean that everybody's *not* out to get him! :)

 

I often wonder if the "Paranoia" quest could be expanded, either before or after Glarthir gets killed, perhaps by either him or the player finding a note from one Marukhati Selective to another, reporting on him! This could lead the player to an investigation of the Marukhati Selectives, trying to discover why they were spying on him.

 

S'razirr is a member of the Marukhati Selectives, although he performs no activities related to his membership - yet. If Glarthir's quest was expanded, perhaps he could get involved. Perhaps he could be the one who has been sending his operatives to spy on Glarthir.

 

Anyone else interested in seeing this quest expanded?

Glarthir says that they're after him because he "knows too much". Maybe there is some information that they want to keep hidden, and have been spying on him to find out how much he knows, and who he talks to, and when he's alone and unprotected, to help them to decide whether to send an assassin to kill him.

 

Of course, it doesn't have to be the Marukhati Selectives who are spying on him. Glarthir also suspects the Blades and the Mythic Dawn, as evidenced by his hand-written notes in his basement. The player could be guided to investigate them as well, for any evidence of spying on Glarthir.

 

The spies could turn out to be any of those three groups - or all of them! Or maybe even the Renrijra Krin!
