DJnecr0
Hello :) I am wondering if anybody can help me troubleshoot or send me a replacement core_en.tlk file for Origins. Somehow part of my data is missing (about half of the talent and abilitiy info) and I really don't want to have to reinstall again. Right now I am using the Detailed Tooltips reference file (thank you) I hope somebody can help me out with this. I have no idea how it got screwed up or why it is not displaying correctly (it could be awakenings I really don't know) :wallbash: I'm running Dragon Age: Origins 1.03 and Awakenings (EA dd not disc, steam or pirate) I didn't personally alter the file and I have no mods enabled that should change this file. This started when i made a new game with a fem dwarf. any suggestions other then replacing the file are welcome :)
Thandal
Well.... A re-install isn't all that difficult if you select "Keep Characters and Saves", and make your own copy of the "Addins" folder to put back afterwards so you don't have to re-down load your DLC. Did it about half-a-dozen times when I was troubleshooting the CtD problems with 1.03 on my rig.
DJnecr0
Well.... Did it about half-a-dozen times when I was troubleshooting the CtD problems with 1.03 on my rig. Normally I would, but this would be like the 4th time for one reason or another in the past two days. The first reinstall, even after being careful broke my main save game (which admittedly was huge and messy) but like 150 hours of play time lost...ugh and I was right up to the end too. and the save file broke the game and so on... and while I don't think it would happen again, just the thought of it makes my head ache. Even with the backups saved, reinstalling the mods takes a while. I really want to play the game
Vagrant0
As this is a component to the base game, nobody will give it to you. Either you installed wrong, the file is bad, you have bad mods installed, or the version you pirated is faulty. Regardless, you are on your own. Request it again, and you will be banned.
