Tinfeasul Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 I bought a nice black horse in Cheydinhal and found its conpanionship pleasing. But while I got into a easy fight with a rotten captin who had just got out of jail to seek his revange at Cloud Ruler Temple, I stabed my shining long elven sword at my horse by mistake. Oops. So, yeah I nearly choped its head off, but what made me really shock was that a few lines poped out saying that I was caught stealing from a member of Mage Guild and the key of the guild was removed from me. That's really rediculous! I was in Cloud Ruler Temple! Just think about it: how can I steal from a member when I was MILES away from them?To make sure the stealing has nothing to do with that crazy captin, I reloaded the game aand charged at my black horse(this time no captin bothering). And guess what happened? Faint shouts and screams appeared when my blade sank into my horse's flesh and again the key was removed from me instantly...why is that?
Switch Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Bizarre. o.O I don't understand that - some sort of loopy mod conflict, maybe? Anyway, this belongs in Technical Support methinks. Moving...
Tiberiu911 Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Your horse might be a mage in disquise? or maybe some script that should be on a mage got on the horse? wow just imagine the horse shooting Ennemies Explode spells ^_^
Dilvish Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 In Oblivion, your horse is considered to be part of any guilds you belong to. If you attack your horse (even accidentally) it's the same as if you attacked a humanoid guild member. Be kind to your horse.
sleaaels Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Its a bug that no one seems to have made a mod for. You just have to be careful and not fight too near your horse.
