Raistlin1009
This happened to me also, very frustrating yeah? Why Loot can't find it is just lazyness on Loot programers. My Loot could not find my Skyrim Special Edition on my F drive, so I went into Loot settings, looked for Skyrim SP (this is all you will see) under the "Loot folder" sectionOn that same line as Skyrim SP, under Instal Path" you will see Install path left blank, type in your SSE game location in there or C&P mine and change the "F" to your drive letter. My SSE location is F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\ , if yours is on another drive put C instaed of F or what ever it is, some times it's E or G.Close Loot and open again, it should be there. This worked for me and hope it helps you out too.Cheers.Coffee. Wow thanks man, this was the only method that worked for me. Much appreciated.

vezku01
1. Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\LOOT2. Open settings.yaml with a text editor3. Search for "type: Skyrim" and a bit below that is "path: ....." Change that line to the location where your Skyrim is installed. I hope that helps.Still WorksAnd thanks :)
