Poldi1
I have been playing FO3 with just some minor GUI addons until I recently decided to "mod the max" out of my FO3. So i got all the neat stuff like MMM, FOOK2 and FWE, installed and play it for some weeks, but without creating a merged patch (missed that part) - it runs with a lot of crashes but I can play. When trying to create a merged patch i get these errors in the end: ...[AAAmerge.esp] Adding master "Enhanced Weather - REBOOT.esp"[AAAmerge.esp] Adding master "Enhanced Weather - Sneak Bonus during Storms.esp"[AAAmerge.esp] Adding master "Enhanced Weather - Weather Sounds in Interiors.esp"[010E17AA] <Error: Could not be resolved>[010E17AA] <Error: Could not be resolved>[0103122A] <Error: Could not be resolved>[01031228] <Error: Could not be resolved>[0103122D] <Error: Could not be resolved>Found a REFR reference, expected: ALCH,AMMO,ARMO,BOOK,KEYM,LVLI,MISC,MSTT,NOTE,STAT,WEAPFound a REFR reference, expected: ALCH,AMMO,ARMO,BOOK,KEYM,LVLI,MISC,MSTT,NOTE,STAT,WEAP[0106DED1] <Error: Could not be resolved>Found a REFR reference, expected: ALCH,AMMO,ARMO,BOOK,KEYM,LVLI,MISC,MSTT,NOTE,STAT,WEAP[0103122B] <Error: Could not be resolved>[0106DED1] <Error: Could not be resolved> When activating that merged patch in FOMM I would never get a menu or mouse pointer on the sarting animation, so the game is unplayable. ThelebKaarna
Yep. FOOK2 & FWE are incompatible AFAIK.
Poldi1
Ah ok I already feared that, although it ran like this for quite a while... ;) But thanks for that info anyways :) So for a try I unchecked all the FOOK entries in FOMM and it creates the merged patch without any errors. What would you guys favor personally? FOOK or FWE? edit: Oh, and is it right the MMM modules "Tougher Traders & Zones Respawn" are already kinda built-in in FWE? edit2: Looks like something is still wrong... Have two big red exclamation marks in the kitchen of the super duper market... anything wrong with my load order maybe? scrivener07
Check THIS PAGE I think I saw a few that might me already integrated. Also... where your FOIP patches? report back. btw I like FWE but never tried FOOK and you dont have to Im just griping. put your load orders in Loadorder because my scroll wheel hates you right now. :)
Poldi1
FOIP files are right there, look closer ;) Sorry for the long list, but I don't know how to put the info in that "spoiler-button-thingy" - whats the BBCode for it? I liked FOOK a lot because it added even more weapons and altered a lot of items and clothing in a way that I felt makes sense. I found some compatibility patches for older FOOK and FWE versions - I really hope FOIP will cover this combination in the near future! For the time I had FOOK and FWE running together (without even knowing about a merged patch) I had much better feeling in the game.
scrivener07
Code [*spoiler]Stuff stuff[/spoiler*]Im at work right now but Im gonna try to pick your load order apart tonight and see if I find an answer. cause I never have anything to do :) I'll edit this post when I got something *and oh yea I did scroll right past them. Im in my "at work haze"**Not home yet but are the foip patches your merging into your patch still active in FOMM. they need to be disabled. why am I thinking of wrye bash Edited October 3, 2010 by scrivener07
rickerhk
If you are going with FWE, make sure you are using EVE .96, plus the important update for .96 - there's no FOIP for FWE-EVE for the new .97 version yet. If you are going with FOOK2 - EVE is built into it.
blove
You were running FOOK2 1.0 RC plugins along with FOOK2 1.1 Beta plugins. There would be lots of conflicts. That said, even if you did clean up your FOOK2 install it is still not compatible with FWE. Also you are running the individual DCinteriors Project plugins with the Combo version. You should only have the Combo version enabled (and the Collectibles plugin if you want it).
Poldi1
Thanks for all the input guys! All the mods and updates and compatibiltys can get quite confusing to a newbie like me... Yes I use the newest version of EVE along with the update. Always thought the single DCInterior files would add even more content, but I now only run the combo-ed, ty again. Lately the game is crashing a lot when sprinting, when shooting the first bullet in a battle and when entering a new zone through a door (=on loading process). Might that be faults in my load order that can be corrected?Again, thanks for all your help and input.
